Hallo Funchi and daughter,
thank you for sharing your EA and strategy with the community.
I have trading experience, but not much experience with EA's and testing EA's with the strategytester.
I like this system and been looking for this kind of simple systems/edges. I've run the ea on the EURNZD and it looked good. I've run it also on similar pairs like EURAUD, GBPNZD, GBPAUD, NZDUSD and AUDUSD and the results look similar profitable (a rough test with control points and without looking at the spreads). Can you confirm that?
- Can i ask you what ATR length you use in the EA and how the trigger exactly works?
And out of curiosity, can i ask if you also considered exiting when price returns to the close of the last candle? A gap fill like trade exit?
Thx Abdi

Hi,
my server time as seen in 'market watch' tab is 10 hours ahead of my local time and my local time is GMT +2 ( during summer ).
So my server time is GMT +12.
Please, let me know if you need something else.
Thank you,
Mork01
What time is 0:00 on MT4 server in GMT?

Based on previous observations when time is 0:00 GMT the server should show time 12:00, that is GMT +12.
I don't understand why but now the server time I see in 'market watch' tab is only 1 hour ahead of my local time, anyway I observed an opened position from your EA today at 00:05, server time, and closed with positive profit at 2:00 server time.
It seems the configuration is ok now.

For my operating environment, this is due to the time of day when spreads are larger,
I need to set the spread properly in the tester to get proper results.
I recommend that you check and test the spread for the time period you have set for the EA.
Entry Conditions
That time set in the parameters
1 day/times
Keltner (21-21-2.5)
Momentum (H1-21)
Exit condition
After the time period set by the parameter
Hard Stop loss ATR (14-5.0)
Hard Take profit ATR (14-5.0)

Hallo Funchi
Thx for the clarification.
I observed 2 - 3 different brokers in the last days but unfortunately the spreads seem to big to enter at a good price. The spreads were alsways to big and filled the whole gap at the time of the entry (20+ pips spread at times).
Maybe it is specific to your broker?

You can't expect to make a profit with that broker.
My broker is about 30-100 points.
