I asked Grok;

Norman North is a technical analyst and trader best known for developing the Insync Index, a consensus indicator introduced in the January 1995 issue of Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities magazine. The Insync Index is designed to consolidate the signals of multiple technical indicators into a single metric, helping traders identify potential market turning points when a majority of these indicators align—or are "in sync."

Overview of the Insync Index
The Insync Index aggregates signals from a group of commonly used technical indicators, such as the Relative Strength Index (RSI), Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD), Money Flow Index (MFI), Detrended Price Oscillator (DPO), Rate of Change (ROC), Stochastic Oscillator, Commodity Channel Index (CCI), Bollinger Bands (%B), and Ease of Movement (EOM). By combining these, it provides a composite view of market trends and momentum, aiming to reduce the noise and conflicting signals that can arise when analyzing indicators individually.
The index operates on the concept of "presignal areas," where indicators are evaluated based on their position relative to predefined thresholds (e.g., overbought or oversold levels). Each indicator contributes a score—typically +5 for a bullish signal, -5 for a bearish signal, or 0 for neutral—based on its status. These scores are summed and normalized around a baseline value (usually 50), with the final value indicating the degree of consensus among the indicators. Extreme readings (e.g., above 90 or below 10) suggest overbought or oversold conditions, signaling potential reversals.

How It Works
The Insync Index is calculated by:
Assessing each component indicator’s state (e.g., RSI above 70 might score +5, below 30 might score -5).
Summing the individual scores.
Adding the total to a neutral midpoint (50), resulting in a range typically from 0 to 100.
For example, if eight out of ten indicators are in a pre-sell signal area (each contributing +5) and one is in a pre-buy area (-5), the net score would be (8 × 5) - (1 × 5) = 35, added to 50, yielding an Insync Index value of 85. North recommended key levels like 10 and 90 for actionable signals, though these can be adjusted for stricter or looser criteria.

Purpose and Application
North created the Insync Index to address the challenge of information overload in technical analysis. With the rise of affordable data and powerful computers in the 1990s, traders could analyze thousands of stocks, but tracking multiple indicators per stock often led to conflicting signals. The Insync Index simplifies this by providing a single, graphical representation of indicator consensus, making it easier to spot significant market shifts.
Traders can use it in various ways:
Reversal Signals: Buy when the index crosses above a low threshold (e.g., 5 or 10), sell when it crosses below a high threshold (e.g., 90 or 95).
Trend Confirmation: Values above 50 suggest bullishness, below 50 indicate bearishness.
Divergence Analysis: Discrepancies between the index and price action can hint at impending reversals.
North’s Perspective
Norman North emphasized that the Insync Index should not be used in isolation. He advocated combining it with other technical and fundamental tools to confirm signals and refine entry/exit points. He also noted its strength in detecting reversals early, particularly when it diverges from price trends, offering traders a potential edge in volatile or range-bound markets.

Evolution and Modern Use
Since its introduction, the Insync Index has been adapted across platforms like TradeStation, MetaStock, TradingView, and ThinkorSwim, with variations in the choice and weighting of indicators. Some modern implementations, such as those enhanced with dynamic zones or Jurik smoothing (as noted in recent discussions on X), have refined it into a trend-following tool, expanding its original reversal-focused design.
In summary, Norman North’s Insync Index remains a valuable tool for traders seeking a unified perspective on market conditions. Its ability to distill complex indicator data into a clear signal reflects North’s innovative approach to overcoming the challenges of technical analysis in an era of growing data abundance.

On that just set regularized ma (useRegMa) to false then it will give you access to the other averages and if I remember correctly on BEATS V5 think they are using jurik moving average, but the period have no idea, maybe someone using that system can help you better than me.
