These are my rules
For the next three weeks:

1. Only trade Cable
2. Take all A up/down and C up/down
3. Use pivots
4. Move stop along 10 min SAR +2
5. Don't deviate from these rules.

Thats it. I am not trading any other exotic variation of ACD until I can do this for three weeks

using those rules, how would trade gbp tonight"

for instance I suppose you would enter on the valid Adown.

the A was 1.8884 what price was it when you decide it
is a valad A down?

then I assume you would put your stop > Pivot Rnage?

if you did you would be stopped out.

My entry would have been 1.8884, and my stop 1.8925 top of o/r.

The only time i will put my stop at the top of the pivot range is if the A down is through the pivot, or if I enter at the botom of the pivot range as a result of the A down being into the pivot (with a small pivot).

Does that make sense.

The current trade would have moved the stop and still be open now.

I have gone back over all my trades for the last few weeks, and where I have not followed these rules I have lost out.

We (Charlie and I) have agreed on a calculationwe use which is 10% of the higher of the 10 or 30 day ATR for A, and 15% for C

onthe cal you will see long80% short80%
1.8790 0.0069 1.8633 0.0089

the reason for this on the cal is only my idea of a
point that one should look at re taking some profit

the 80% is mark is 80% of the pips from the PivotPoint
to either R1 or S1.

as the price very often stalls here then retraces, more so
at this time of night or a little bit earlier.

I will if the price stalls for to long here pull the whole tradeoff
and wait for either a bounce, and go long with a stop
below the S1 point,

or the same at SI if the price breaks through I will go short
with a small risk stop above Si. Ri the same

For Forex, A and C figures given recently on Mark B. Fisher's website include:-

USD/CHF: A = 11 pips, C = 22 pips
EUR/USD: A = 10 pips, C = 12.5 pips
USD/JPY: A = 8 pips, C = 15 pips
USD/CAD A = 7 pips, C = 7 pips

Mark B. Fisher has also been quoted as saying that for Forex trading with his ACD system, you can in general take 10% of the ATR(10) for the A figure, and 15% of the ATR(10) for the C figure, and that this "system" will be about as reliable as any other way of working it out.
