risk management
-------------------------

risk only 1-2% of your capital on each trade, keep 3% as absolute boundary(use it only in strong trending market, so using it will be less then 7-10% of the times at any given time)

if you are keeping positions open overnight then always keep your risk below 1% and with small lot size.

if you go beyond 3% then you will start loosing your money rapidly as probability of you being wrong is 50% of the times in market.

once 1-2% risk is defined, caliberate the lot size accordingly, who will loose 1-2% of risk capital quickly ? the one who trades with 0.1 lot or who trades with 1 lot or the one who trades with 100 lots ?

----------------------------------------------------------------

know the adr of instruments and expect moves accordingly,

you can not target 500-1000 pips a day, that miracle do not happen ! 30 pips is enough a target for steady growth. more higher the pips you target more roller coster will be the ride of your account and more chance of loosing money

decide on how much attempts you are going to make a day, restrict it to at the most to 3 attempts, if you are not going to make profit in 3 attempts in a day then leave it for the day, come on to the next day. lesser the attempt to achieve your target better it is, that does mean that you are sitting on sidelines most of the times till all moving averages and open interest levels are not lined up for low risk entry.
------------------------------------------------------------------

using real time oi data is the only way to confirm moves when moving averages are lined up.

like in attached pictures, 74.50 was the single level with highest open interest, so move was going to be big in either direction, as moving averages were lined down , move came in down direction , till the next open interest level of 74.25.

this is how prices moves from one call and put open interest strike level to other

choose the timeframe you are trading on carefully

1 minutes , 5 minutes timeframes are vulnerable to program trading or algo

traing on daily and above timeframes and you will be in big draw down, and if you are hit be events like coronavirus crash you are gone, this events are going to come surely at frequent intervals !
