Strange...I find it more reliable than most other indicators...with all it's flows...like an old car that suppose to stop at any moment but still keeps going

I agree with mladen. I don't keep a trading journal, but if I did so, I won't want to write "Lost due to one strange piece of code" either.

Here is a simple, conservative strategy that does not make me nervous...(trades are only taken when next leg of the move is below/above similar arrow)...trades taken are in Magenta/Green)...Simple Halftrend (1) on Daily Data...

Could you please attach your version of HalfTrend?
Because there are at least a few different (?) ones.
Maybe, our coders could improve the code
(as far as I remember, the indicator recalculates the code
for all the candles, but it doesn't repaint as a result).

This is Halftrend on the picture...Different color was made by hand to make a point...same principle as High - low trend attached...but that indicator repaints...
