Best 'oh shit, dont margin call me bro' indicator?

Hey guys, most folks have an issue with hard stops.
My question is what do you find to be the best hard line exit indicator.
Meant to avoid margin calls and such.
I know some use 100pip hard stop, while using at TP zone or some other exit indicator.
Whats your fav? What do you do?
