A few posts earlier I started to collect some underlying principles and findings, which were shared in this thread of the Beatle's Trend Trading System.
But I think the most important aspect was not mentioned. And this was repeatedly said by Beatle.
Patience
This is the key to that approach. As your entry TF should be 30M or above you should let trades run even in DD periods.
You have to adjust your risk-taking with regard to that.
In my opinion, which could mislead someone, who just barely read the thread and tried to apply the system, we could see many entries, which were almost perfect before a breakout zone and the pip gain was just blowing up shortly, but this could give a false picture.
As Beatle said, the average holding time was 3 days for him and Jimmy also had 4 days average holding time for his trades.
Building up unrealistic expectations could lead to frustration and making mistakes led by wrong trading psychology principles.
