I was feeling great and well-rested after my vacation when I immediately tried a crazy idea—the Pitchfork tool—and it was a total fiasco... My first thought after a quick backtest was that the Pitchfork repaints (so I was ready to scrap it)—check out the quick video... but then I let it run live, and it does a beautiful job of guiding and nudging the price (reacting instantly to reversals)... In slow-paced live trading, it makes sense—though in a fast backtest, I would have dismissed it... The second crazy experiment was the "Vertex" indicator—which isn't quite as precise now as it was when it used to repaint (look at the arrows)—but it does feature beautifully accurate divergence arrows (cyan/magenta squares).
