Interesting that many people listening to Trump yesterday automatically assumed he meant that the Iranians basically wanted to surrender.

He didn't actually say that but just said they wanted a deal real bad. Listening to the Iranians it was clear they not only didn't say anything to the Americans at all but also know they’re holding the whip hand.

This is a missile and drone war, the US military knows if their navy or air force or army come within range of Iran they will suffer horrendous losses.

Now the US (and therefore Israel) are fast running out missiles while the Iranians have been preparing for a full-on confrontation for decades.

Back to Trump and yesterday he said it was the deadly duo Witkoff and Jarrard who were doing the talking with the Iranians and Trump didn't even know who they were talking to (plausible deniability).

As the whole world knows by now when Trump tells you the duo are coming to talk to you it's Mafioso speak for ‘we've got a red targeting dot fixed to the back of your head’.

As happened to Hamas and Putin and twice already to the Iranians.

But this time there were no talks, and this is another of Trump’s MOs, just make shit up, as he already did when he told the press of fictitious talks with Modi last year, twice.

But, as in post 2 of 3 yesterday with the short video on Trump's mental state, it's not 5D chess, it's just good old out of control narcissism.

Trump needs to make stuff up to satisfy himself that he's always right. The stories he makes up don't need to be rational to anyone else, just him.

The urgency for Trump on Monday morning was he saw the arse was falling out of the Bond market. Something needed to be done then and there, so he just made shit up on the spot.

Meanwhile nothing changes in the conflict itself, there continues to be a slow steady escalation between Iran and Israel with the US seemingly being dragged along behind.

Netanyhu seems to be leading Trump and he is but it's the US blob who are firmly in control and who have guided Trump into another US forever war with the added bonus of oil now well above the US fracking break even point.

But, but, what about the global economy? - Phfft.

The US rose to dominance after WWII because it was left as the world's only manufacturing superpower. Now it's China not the US so let China worry about the global economy, it's their problem now.

I'm being facetious but not sure it's untrue.
