strong observation of market movement, and most of all i keep an eye on TDI and ADX mostly (TDI giving short term trend, and ADX giving direction strength.
ideally, i am first having a quick look at H1, M15 before opening, then i am looking for an alignement of all indicators in M3/M4, then wait for a chirurgical position opening in M1 adding candle clock to other indicators - last moment TDI update is crucial in M1. A recent improvement is that i have subscribed to Autochartist Strategy Newsletter, sent every day before market opening (free service from my broker), this gives my daily main inspiration - here attached today’s gold strategy).

Avoid at all cost choppy market (quick micro ups and downs - eventually step back to M2 and reduce position size), and markets openings. if you feel too much hesitation in price movment - stay out - bears and bulls fight is running, wait for the winner. never trade oposite of RSI direction in M1 or in M3 depending volatility.
if price goes opposite direction of all indicators or if if you notice any incoherence in M1 price movment, kind of erratic, regarding indicators, stay out or step back to M2.
If market conditions are abnormal or if there are too many counter intuitive price movements, stay out ! If you loose 2 consecutive trades, stop trading and ask yourself why those 2 losts.

Never open an M1 trade in opposite direction of M4/M3 trend.
don't stare too long on M1 to avoid taking bad decisions (trader's M1 tunnelling problem). Keep on M2 min to observe price evolution, and switch to M1 only to open or close position.

globally, my sucessful opened position occur with a straight movement, without hesitations, for at least 1 candle. if you enter and the price stops or hesitates soon after starting to move, it is not a good sign of continuation. i often try to guess price directionin M1 even without opening a position.

each opened position failure should be thought about, find the reason, try to find the solution, maybe establishing a new rule for you, and rest for a while, observing market.

I am also receving the Autochartist Strategy briefing before market opening every day, a service proposed by my broker - FP Market).

start small and once confident and mostly profitable, increase risk gradually until account has sufficient margin (my goal as fixed by GROK Money Management discussion) is 5K. For now, i mostly use 1 lot positions (above 1K accoutn, but i started with 0.1 then 0.4).

very important also, as soon as you can, retreive your initial capital to only keep profits in your account.
As explained in my previous post, i started my account with 300€ (600 initial deposit, then immediate 300 retreive to check broker reactivity), then 300 aditionnal deposit later when account level was too low to use 0.4 lot, while adjusting my strategy.
As soon as i reached 1400€, i retreive my inital capital (600 added to initial 300, meaning i had deposit 900 and retreive 900 later, Then 5 to test crypto retreive).
this shows the importance of money management. today i have retreive another 600. all capital retreived is placed on Wise i<(former TransferWise) nterest account.

my positions are mostly 1 or 2 candles avg, with manual control on SL (10% cut) and Profit. if a 3rd candle shows up in same direction in M1, i place a BE SL to preotect my position from brutal reversal, and cut my profit as soon as TDI reverse (depending on movment speed, i can refer to M4 TDI also)

never consider a M1 dot definitive until it has been confirmed in M3 at least (the greater the better)
last rule, when position opened and price seem to be blocked at some point, 2 or 3 times, cut your position.
