In my tireless research, I was studying the Savitzky–Golay moving average, where I even tried to create it via hardcoding.
However, in the magazine Technical Analysis Of Stocks & Commodities, March 2026, which our friend Banzai kindly shared, there is an article by John Ehlers, as quoted on page 32: "I tested the Savitzky–Golay filter against a Hann windowed FIR filter of the same length, and found the Hann windowed filter has a significantly smoother output."
Furthermore, I already had the Hann filter on my radar because it is also discussed on Stonehill Forex with some encouraging results in the daily chart.
Therefore, could you please include your eAverages and a filter average + prices on DMH?
