I believe traders who are new to the ADX will find this especially helpful due to it's easier-to-understand view.

Tip for traders: Don't forget, when using the ADX DMI be sure to add a 20 level to your indicators:

• When the red or green DMI lines break this level it's a powerful sign of trend direction.
• If the ADX line is above the 20 level, this is a sure sign of volatility (but it's quite a laggy signal).

You can add a 20 level to this indicator and watch for the histogram bars to pierce this line.
