I wonder if we can expect to see Zelensk’s father on the frontline anytime soon?
Ukrainian generals at a conference in Kiev say that though they have manpower issues they can be overcome by the use of robots and drones, especially when looking at a ‘generational time frame’.
So Ukrainian army generals are saying now that they need robots and drones to replace men (because they don’t have any men left) and that this conflict will now be fought on a generation time frame.
They are ignoring the fact that the Ukraine army will be lucky to last the year's end. Still, if they were likely to tell the truth they definitely would not have been invited to speak at an international conference in Kiev.
The key point is the total lack of any recognition of anything coming close to reality, having the face to spout such delusional nonsense usually only happens in the face of imminent disaster.
They also seem to think that they have the technological edge in robots and drones over the Russians if not in actual production, but even that thought would seem to be optimistic given the new jet powered Russian long range drones.
Money remains a major problem for Ukraine, the Europeans are full of talk but are just not coming up with the goods, not to the tune of $60 billion a year they were getting from good old Joe anyway.
Zelensky is determined to continue with that famous military strategy of sitting and waiting for a million to 1 miracle to come along. Other than that there is no plan, Zelensky is literally watching Ukrainians die in their hundreds every day in the hope something might turn up.
Strategic planners don’t do that, if they know there’s nothing in the pipeline then some other plan is needed. Just sitting there dreaming while thousands die is what drug addicted narcissistic psychopaths do (think Al Pacino in Scarface).
Those in the west are not any better, instead of looking for an end to the conflict they are trying to find a way to keep it going until it completely turns around so that Ukraine is winning and then they can seek talks. So, err, maybe if they give Ukraine weapons and money and place sanctions on Russia? Groundhog Day again.
They already gave all the weapons, and even $60 billion didn’t make any difference, and there aren’t any more sanctions that can be placed on Russia. Trying to hurt India and China to get to Russia will do more harm to the US and will kill off Europe completely.
They know all this but just refuse to admit it, not so long as there are still thousands of Ukrainians to be rounded up and forced to the front.
And there’s still that million to 1 chance might come along don’t forget
