Dear Mr Funchi, funchi wrote: Wed Aug 27, 2025 8:39 am This is the second time I’m responding regarding “Zee_SupportResistance. V1.0”.
It repaints.
Although you mentioned that you’re aware of the repainting, it seems you haven’t fully understood what that actually means.
If you check using the tester (backtest), it becomes clear.
Please confirm the indicator’s behaviour yourself.
When I tested it, it kept switching between support and scissors repeatedly.
At the time of the red arrow, I assume it was showing support (though I haven’t checked in detail).
I'm sorry for the foolish question that I have asked. For my understanding 'repaints' means the signal will keep changing from time to time, as you said scissors to sup/res or otherwise. So, I can understand it as since the signal keep on 'changing', the timing for entry/exit might not be accurate or precise, it might be delay. I will look for a better back tester for clearer picture and understanding (or if anyone can recommend).
I'm trying to set the paramater for zee/support exit condition into 80% instead of 100%, will it make any changes or effect? Like will it react to the condition faster and exit earlier? Just curious, sorry.
For the FNC_Elliot_Oscillator, may I ask the check method, for upward colour/downward colour, which entry point does it mean? (image attached with 2 red arrows).
For the up arrow / down arrow, does it mean it takes entry/exit when the arrow (for zigzag) appears?
