EU signs a huge and very expensive energy deal with the US and so confirms it's vassal status to the US by adding energy dependence to the defence and trade dependence the EU already have.

No one could have done a more complete job of subjugating Europe's interests to the US than Ursula van der Moron. Expensive US energy good, cheap Russian energy bad, obvious really.
