I do think with the PR in MTF one visible window we can provide a simple visible way to define the big direction and longer leg passing through the major retracement links, not always but significantly improving it.

The PR indicator already includes TF1 and TF2 options, which allow you to view higher timeframe PR data while operating on a lower timeframe.
Here, I’ve added two PR indicators — one for M5, and the red one displays the H1 PR.
