In my last post, I was running 4K on Linux—it was lightning-fast with no lag whatsoever. The graphics were a little rough, almost like a Roblox vibe, so I smoothed things out a bit. I was planning to try it on my Surface Pro, but then I realized it’s still a 3K display. It blows my mind that in 2025, some folks are still rocking 1080p or lower resolutions. Nowadays, you can grab a 32" 4K monitor for under 200 bucks or even a huge 55" 4K screen for about 350. Trust me, it’s a total upgrade for trading—makes life so much easier.
This time around, I’ve gone back to Windows 11 Pro and jumped to 8K. It’s still crazy fast, thanks to some serious code cleanup. I’m only using the left half of the screen for now, running six charts without a hint of lag. On the right side, I’ve got my browser up, with JRE podcasts playing in the top half.
I still need to tweak the color scheme on this new setup, but for trading, it’s already a dream to use. For simplicity, focus on trading off the BIAS ARROW Dot—it’s got the VWAP250 line extending from it. At a glance, you can spot your next trade just by checking where the Green/Pink VWAP250 line sits. It’s a solid way to steer clear of bad trades, keeping you aligned with the current BIAS.
