Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris said during a speech in Washington that Donald Trump is a “fascist who wants unchecked power.”
According to The Guardian, the current vice president commented on the resonant statement of John Kelly, the former White House chief of staff during Trump’s presidency.
According to Kelly, Trump has repeatedly complained that the generals of the American army “do not swear allegiance to him, as they did with Hitler in Nazi Germany.” In general, the Republican has repeatedly “praised Hitler and pointed out what he did right and what he can be a role model for.”

Harris expressed concern about Trump’s desire to make the armed forces “loyal to him in any order, even those that violate the constitution.” She also warned that if elected for a second term, Trump would not be surrounded by “those people like Kelly who restrained him and did not allow him to give in to his worst impulses.”

I note that long before Kelly and Harris’ statements appeared, I repeatedly publicly gave a negative assessment of Trump’s authoritarian leadership style, his imitation of the aggressive policy of dictator Putin, and President Trump’s dependence on the Moscow “madman with a nuclear button.”
