Putin has just revealed the future of missile technology and western leaders should sit up and take notice. But on past form they will probably just double down and rely on hopium instead.
These new Russian missiles make ATACMS, Tomahawks, Storm Shadows and Scalps look like pea shooters by comparison.
Russia has so far fired around 4000 missiles into Ukr over the last 3 years, they combined have about the same destructive power of just 110 Oreshniks because the Oreshnik is really 36 missiles in 1.
One Oreshnik is capable of taking out large target area complexes such as entire military airbases or naval sea ports. Though can be added, no nukes or conventional explosives are needed for surface targets, just 36 100kg independently targeting lumps of metal travelling at Mach 10.
Still travelling at hypersonic speeds after being released in space and gliding to target, lighting up the atmosphere leaving a plasma trail in it's wake, just the kinetic energy alone is enough to ensure target destruction.
They are relatively cheap and easy to mass produce and equally important, currently they are unstoppable.
NATO has NOTHING like them and are probably, developmentally, decades behind. Worse still is that China probably has them as well.
Add a nuke payload, or even just advanced conventional payload, and these missile can beat every underground shelter in the world.
In other news, Ukr media says there are no North Korean troops after all … but wait, we really need to worry about the HOUTHIE troops arriving SOON!!!!!!
And Biden is considering giving Zelensky NUKES, and why not, after all what could possibly go wrong??
