When they are together, I believe it's hard to read. But if analyzed separately, it can give a clearer depiction of price action. Here is an example of the ADX and Stoch with settings of 24 ADX and Stoch 24, 24, 1 (1 Hour TF). Notice when the Stoch drops below the signal line, you can sell, or goes above the signal, you buy if the DMI- is opposite. However, by adding a MA for the DMI-, it would help with entries.
