Every market has different characteristics, and tends to stick with that for a long time if it does not have major shift in fundamentals. I notice a while gold in m1 is quite volatile of course, but usually range from -1 to 1 in macd (this range will differ with different "range market", but gold m1 is quite easy to recognize). And prices that cross these thresholds or go higher when recovering will often be good pullbacks for entry or exit, can experts join me and try to see if this is a viable strategy and maybe compare it to normalized macd?
We can use other ob/os indicators for confirmation or less lag exit.
