Ok, so here are my preliminary results. I had to use FOREX.com instead of OANDA because the latter is having issues with me resetting the password for my old portal account. I used the SPX500 on the M1 timeframe.
Above is TradingView. On the highlighted candle (open 5027.7, high 5028.7, low 5025.4, close 5027.4), we get the following values:
- Top of the red bubble is 30.4
- The upper-most grey line comes in at 18.8
- The second upper-most grey line comes in at 9.4
- The red thick line comes in at 7.1
- The third upper-most grey line comes in at 4.8
- The third bottom-most grey line comes in at -4.8
- The green thick line comes in at -7.1
- The second bottom-most grey line comes in at -9.4
- The third bottom-most grey line comes in at -18.8
- Bottom of the red bubble is -30.4
Above is MetaTrader 4. On the highlighted candle (open 5020.9, high 5022.2, low 5018.9, close 5020.9), we get the following values:
- Top of the red bubble (lighter red line here) is 30.3781
- The upper-most grey line comes in at 27.9921
- The second upper-most grey line comes in at 13.9323
- The red thick line comes in at 7.9844
- The third upper-most grey line comes in at 7.4820
- The third bottom-most grey line comes in at -7.4820
- The green thick line comes in at -7.05 (actually a higher value)
- The second bottom-most grey line comes in at -13.9960
- The third bottom-most grey line comes in at -27.8645
- Bottom of the red bubble (lighter green line here) is -30.3781
The same thing is not observed in MetaTrader 4. I can't tell if this is because of slightly different candle values between the two platforms that would entirely change how it appears when looking back in time.
That's where I am for now.
kvak, would it be possible to add in color filling options so the MT4 version looks exactly like the TradingView version? Appreciate all the hard work you've put so far into this indicator request.
