The Synthetic VIX Indicator is a market volatility meter. For calculating the volatility index, it closely monitors price-action changes. In order to determine the level of price volatility, we use the index value as a scale.
Initially, this indicator was developed to track the level of volatility in the S&P 500. Today, you can use Synthetic VIX for analyzing forex currency pairs and other types of trading assets.
Furthermore, it offers the easiest demonstration of price index states when compared with other MT4 volatility indicators. This is a good technical indicator for beginners. Moreover, it works well for experienced traders as well.

Synthetic VIX value = [{Highest(Close,Period) – Low}/{Highest(Close,Period)}]
