Parabolic SAR-type of tools may not be the most alluring technical indicators out there but experienced traders know that the PSAR is a decisive tool for day trading. Alternatives such as Mladen's "Smoothed Momentum Stops" is a worthy PSAR substitute which plots it's "stop" levels based on the value of the Smoothed Momentum.
