I probably ought to have known this but was struck by the graphs in today's Times showing UK territorial carbon emissions have been halved and are now back to the 1857 level. Less impressive is one of the means by which it has been achieved - essentially deindustrialisation.
(This was the plan all along, deindustrialisation (via energy crisis) to make everyone poorer using climate change as an excuse thus diverting blame from the real cause, bankers and the Davos billionaires. The economy gets reset with a new currency, CBDC, and we restart a new cycle with everyone as poor as if we had had the hyperinflation in the first place - but people thinking it was actually all about 'saving the planet').
