Unlike the ClusterBox indicator, that displays the amount of ticks per one cluster within a single candlestick, the ClusterBox_Histogramm indicator calculates the amount of ticks of one cluster, which combines several candlesticks. That is the specified interval of the candlesticks is considered as a single candlestick split into clusters. For each such cluster, the amount of ticks within it is calculated
The blue and light blue lines on the chart — total amount of ticks per one cluster. The precise value of this number is displayed to the right of the rectangle, that bounds the data collection interval. The colors of these lines depends on the amount of ticks and values of the setting parameters of the "Min. volumes and colors" block.
Red and green lines — the amount of ticks per fall and growth prices respectively. Set in the "Delta of volumes" parameters block.
The data collection interval is set by moving and/or dragging the rectangle.
Cluster Box Ticks Density
To produce such a tedious calculations by hand, it is sufficient to use a special light - ClusterBox_TicksDensity. It automatically considers the density of ticks for each cluster of the current day and displays the results in a bar graph with numerical values (see M15 CHART).
The histogram is always placed on the right side of the chart, showing data only for the current trading day, no matter how the graph is positioned.
When working with an indicator ClusterBox_TicksDensity special attention should be paid to the following: the testimony of the indicator depends on the selected period schedule. For example, in Fig. 2 (M15 timeframe), the maximum density achieved at the price level of 1.34055 and the same day timeframe M5 maximum density will be in the cluster 1.34160 (see M5 CHART).
This happens for the simple reason that in the calculation of density is used by dividing the total number of ticks to the cluster of bars, included in this cluster. Well, the day the number of bars representing different timeframes, of course, different. Hence comes the relativity of this type of analysis.
The disadvantage of the type considered cluster analysis is sufficiently strong dependence on the height of the indicator is a cluster and the selected timeframe. Apparently, a full analysis of this can only be taken into account when reading the indicator on multiple timeframes, when taken note of only matching data on the levels of the maximum density of ticks.
