Umm... Well, it is profitable!

The general trend is the shaded area (I marked with squares).

During an uptrend, you buy the red dips.
During a downtrend, you sell the green tops.
You exit the trade when the trend is over.

That's it. How is this NOT profitable? Please explain, maybe I'm missing something, that's very possible.
