Atr > ma = Orange (Movement in the market)
Atr < ma = Grey (Quite market)

Similar to the bbsqueeze you made some time ago. But only the middle part which shows velocity.
Since atr has no upper or lower bounds think the only way to do that would be to normalize the atr and put the signals on the zero line.

Nice one.. it reminded me of the one called the D.O.T.S... one of OG tools together with the TDI

The D.O.T.S. (Daily Open Trading System) method. It's an intraday price-based trading model that helps traders identify trend direction and displays market entries, exits, and target levels at the opening of each trading session. The D.O.T.S. method is designed to provide a realistic approach to the Forex markets and assist traders in making informed decisions on when to enter and exit the market.

The D.O.T.S. method can be used in conjunction with other trading tools, such as the Guppy Trade, to create a more comprehensive trading strategy. This approach can help traders adapt to different market conditions and manage risk more effectively.

Are you ok with normalizing the ATR to add the volatility type signals?

Sorry for the late response.
Yes, sure. I'd like to test that version out.

Dear Mrtools,

Is it possible to share the MT5 version of this with a modification based on how it looks in the attached indicator? And maybe an alert system when price crosses the daily ATR level in either direction?

Thank you in advance sir.

I’ve been looking for something to level up my re-entries — and this might just be it.

I am converting it to MT5 as well, as loved it.

PS: I noticed that the MT4 implementation uses iMA() at shifted indices (i, i+1, i+2), but TEMA should actually be calculated as 3*EMA1 - 3*EMA2 + EMA3 where EMA2 is the EMA of EMA1, and EMA3 is the EMA of EMA2 (triple smoothing). Right now it's comparing different time points rather than nested EMAs. Hope it's useful, good job anyway ;)
