This is the famous AMOM (Anchored Momentum) by Rudy Stefenel, which is essentially a modified momentum indicator designed to capture the relative momentum. AMOM utilizes SMA (Simple Moving Average) for deriving momentum, which "anchors" it to that Moving Average instead of the Value of previous Close of bars.
